MANE Hair Salon is a small, beautiful salon in Newport, Shropshire. Owned and run by Gemma and Amanda.

We are qualified in Ladies hairdressing, men’s barbering, Spectrum One hair extensions. We are advanced in technical colouring and also Bridal specialists.”.
Amanda Butterton
I've only ever wanted to be a hair stylist. Thirty years on, I am still thrilled to be in hairdressing. I have gained a huge amount of experience including participating in competitions. After a life changing situation, I decided to collect further qualifications in barbering and ladies hairdressing. Having worked in Newport for many years, a chance chat with fellow stylist Gemma, made us both realise that we wanted the same things. The rest is now history. I am delighted to be co-owner of our beautiful salon, MANE.
Gemma Mae Davidson
My passion for styling hair has been with me since I was a small girl. My hairdressing journey started at the age of 14 working in local salons, meeting wonderful people, watching and learning. After extensive training, salon practice and achieving many cutting, colouring, styling and hair extension qualifications, my hairdressing career has gone from strength to strength. I feel elated that I now own my very own salon and can continue to work with my lovely clients along with my partner and friend, Amanda.
